Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television host in America and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, shares straightforward and simple methods for cooks at home. Chef Burrell has also worked at several of the most prestigious restaurants located in New York, studied the cuisine and culture of Italy and competed in Food Network's Iron Chef America. Burrell, who grew up in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in managing restaurants when she received an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had the most enjoyable time of my life. I couldn't learn enough couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. When I graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners Chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she came to be aware of the philosophies behind Italian culinary and cultural traditions that made a lasting impression on her culinary perspective. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens children living with obstacles and is also a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she is an advocate for juvenile diabetes awareness. She is a frequent guest to speak at conferences and tours across the nation as part of her mentorship task. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne often says that she feels extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share my passion for life with people.
