Lars began military service following his school days. He completed the basic military duties for nine months in Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), which is an infantry regiment within the Danish army's Danish army. Lars didn't think the military work was suitable for him and he started to search for something else and eventually chose to study biology. Anette returned from a juggler's workshop and showed Lars how many she could juggle in three days, even though Lars had already been busy for half a year. Lars was thrilled and wanted to do it. Therefore, he quit college and attended the juggler school as well. There he learnt juggling and fire breathing as well as other things. After that, he traveled with two friends as traveling artists through Europe, where they performed in the streets of cities such as Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. Two years later he came in contact with a kids' circus, where he additionally discovered pantomime and street and children's theater.
